Den SWEN Software Engineering Preis 2011 für Masterarbeiten für besondere Leistungen zum Thema Software Engineering erhält die folgende Informatik-Abschlussarbeit:

Pascal Kesseli HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil Institut für Software Für die Arbeit "Loop Analysis and Transformation towards STL Algorithms"

Begründung: Pascal Kesseli's master thesis "Loop analysis and transformation towards STL algorithms" created algorithms to analyze existing code for its semantic similarity to STL algorithms and replace it by equivalent STL algorithm function calls if applicable. The project, even though conceived as a theoretical feasibility study, rendered a functional Eclipse CDT plug-in, which is now used as a basis for extension by other IFS students. For this excellent master thesis Pascal Kesseli was granted the SWEN master thesis award 2011.
